What does it mean when someone says "your artwork has a lot of soul."  A "Google" search will tell you that your art expresses deep emotions, personal experiences, and a sense of authenticity, as if a piece of your inner self is poured into the creation, making it feel particularly meaningful and impactful to the viewer beyond aesthetics."

Indeed, every painting here is created with a lot of thought and emotion. Sometimes there is childhood nostalgia and remnants of being raised by creative, hardworking, "make do" parents of the Great Depression. There are glimpses of places I have called "home" and places to which I wish I could return. There are portraits and figurative works of people who have positively impacted my life. And there are still life arrangements with symbolism and references to a life of faith. My paintings carry a part of my story. Thank you for letting me share my paintings and my story with you.
